Don't let your garden "Fall" by the wayside

What a year it has been! We had a colder than usual winter, a longer than usual spring. I wish I could say we had cooler than usual summer but it was the same old, hot, humid Houston Summer, sigh. I wonder what kind of weather the Fall of 2010 will bring us?
Enough about the weather! What I really want to discuss is Bullfrog Bucks, Bullfrog Bucks, Bullfrog Bucks, Bullfrog Bucks!! Sometime in October you will find in your mailbox a postcard reminding you that it’s time to redeem the loyalty points you earned over the past year (or years). Don’t throw this away it’s your ticket to great bargains!
To tempt you back to Nelson Water Gardens, we’ve extended the redemption period of Bullfrog Bucks through December. THAT’S RIGHT! Anytime during the months of November and December you can visit us to redeem your bucks. Bullfrog Bucks are redeemed for up to 50% of your purchase. Remember these bucks can be used for anything not nailed down (excluding employees and company vehicles) at Nelson’s. They can be used towards a backup pump, fountain, pond supplies, even Christmas gifts for family and friends. You are even allowed to be self indulgent and buy something for yourself—we won’t tell.
Ok, back to musing….there are certain thoughts that always run through my mind in the fall. My first thought is….. “When will the first cool front get here?” Autumn makes me think of a homey fire with the warmth and comfort it brings. With this in mind we will have an outdoor fire blazing at Nelson’s on the weekends through Fall, whenever the temperatures permit. Come on by, relax and sit a spell, we put it there for you!
Fall is a busy time for all of us, but I urge you to include a little gardening in your schedule. We hope that you will let us help you with all of your projects this fall and winter!
