Posted on: Tuesday, March 06, 2007
Would you believe that this spring marks our 10th Anniversary? We've come a long way in 10 years and are stronger than ever. Rolf and I, and all the Nelson Crew wish to extend A Big Thank You to each and every one of you for your unfailing support. To celebrate and to show our appreciation, out Annual Garden Party on April 21st will be a birthday party too! Join us for a day of fun, surprises, and special discounts as we thank all of you.
We've been quite busy this winter digging up new surprises for you. First of all, as you probally have noticed, we have updated our website. Our home page has an "alert" where we can let you know about incoming plants, pots and fish. We'll also use this space to let you now what to do in the event of adverse weather conditions like hurricanes or deep freezes.(Yes they do occasionally happen here. Remember 1983 and 1989)
For those who like to garden in the middle of the night (are you a cyber-gardener?) The Nelson Resource Center, a valuable resource that's always at your fingertips, is now called Nelson Know-How. Another new feature is our Customer Pond Tour where you can take a look at the amazing creativity of fellow Nelson Water Garden customers. With just a few clicks you can add your water garden to the pond tour. We would like to feature your pond soon, so please send us pictures of your pond or favorite water feature.
Peter Nelson and his crew have picked up quite a few carpentry skills. They've constructed a new deck, three garden rooms and a plant pick up area where you can collect your plant purchases. This Plant Pick-up Area is a direct result of your input, so keep the ideas, complaints, comments and suggestions coming- we really do listen!
Have we got pots! Oh my goodness, they all came in at once. What's been a logistical nightmare for us is good for you - great selection and really great prices! Come on in and take a look at our wild and wondrous array - we have fun, never-seen-before pots that will truly inspire. You can create a new and unique garden focal point or you can find a container that's the perfect accessory to give your garden room a fresh look for spring.
