Lilies
1. Feed your lilies twice a month with Pondtabbs
2. Prune yellowing lily pads and spent blossoms.
3. Clean the filter as the pond dictates.
4. Check the submersible pump monthly for debris clogging the intake
5. Make sure you have enough submerged plants like anacharis, cabomba, or hornwort plants to balance your pond and keep "pea soup" green algae at bay.

Summertime Tips
Fertilize Fertilize Fertilize, the more you fertilize the more blooms you'll have. Waterlilies can be fertilized as often as twice a month. Waterlilies can still be divided if you haven't gotten around to it yet. In fact, waterlilies can be divided and repotted anytime during the growing season.

Speaking of repotting......here's a tip from Ken Landon, curator of the International Waterlily and Water Gardening Society's Waterlily Collection in San Angelo, Texas: In August, if you can repot your hardy lilies in fresh soil, they will respond with renewed vigor, larger leaves and blossoms well into the fall. If you're not up to performing this task, just bring your plants to us and we'll do it for you, (repotting charges vary according to the size of the pot).
