Autumn Hummingbird Migration

One the absolute joys of Autumn is the annual Hummingbird Migration along the Gulf Coast.  For weeks at both Nelson Water Gardens and at our farm we are buzzed by hummers and listen for their distinctive "chit chit" calls.  Nelson's carries a full line of the very best Hummingbird Feeders as well as an extensive selection of Hummingbird plants.  My favorite is the red shrimp plant which blooms straight through the winter in a protected spot.  Other favorite plants are Pineappple Sage, Hamelia and Russelia.  For a listing of other irrestible plants check out: www.hummingbirds.net/attract.html
