How would you like to create a butterfly garden AND grow herbs at the same time?  Flowering herbs provide nectar for butterflies, while the leaves of others provide food for their larvae (caterpillars).  Thyme, Parsley, Chives, Garlic Chives, Dills, Oregano, Rosemary, Fennel, Mints, Hyssop, Rue and Pineapple Sage (to name a few) all provide food for butterflies and their larvae.  Find a spot with full sun and well drained soil and get started.  We've got the staff here at Nelson's to help you make your selections.

An Herb Garden Using the Jug Irrigation System
