Get your pond off to a good start this year with our first lecture of the Spring. This lecture also includes a walking tour of Nelson's with a discussion of the "how's and why's" each of our ponds is constructed and filtered.

Building a pond in our Gulf Coast Region presents concerns not addressed in conventional garden literature.  Our sub-tropical climate, heavy clay soils, intense sun, and strong seasonal winds are unique to this area of the country.  Nelson's has over thirty years of experience building, stocking and maintaining ponds in this part of the country to share with you at this workshop.  Join our Design Team to learn the basics of pond construction!
