I know I seem to have disappeared for a bit, but I am still here! Like many of you, Mother Nature has not EXAAAAAACTLY been cooperating with me and my time outdoors. Figured you all might like an update on what I have killed recently. Well, here is some proof that trial and error DOES work!!
I slipped Mother Nature a $20
I mean…I did that. I really did that all by myself! And, did you know that all of those plants (with the exception of the pink one in the middle…yes, I just refer to it as “the pink one” because I have not actually gotten THAT good to learn the real names. Baby steps people.) were in my yard last year? They all seemed to have died away, so I chopped them all back this spring, and voila! There is no rhyme or reason to my plants…I pick out what I like and put a whole mish mash together and see what happens! Once it all starts to grow and fill in, I really love the variety in texture and color. Some I decide I don’t like, and those get ripped out and we just pretend they were never there. Exiled.
Now, if I am going to be totally honest, I have to allow myself to be fully open with you. You have heard me mention on more than one occasion that I want to put in a vegetable garden to play around with. Here it is.
