Disclaimer: I haven’t actually tried this (yet). This past weekend Linda Gay shared this recipe for mosquito control. She claims you only have to apply it every 80 days. Since the ingredient are inexpensive and easy to find, what have you got to lose? Here it is:
1 big bottle of cheap blue mouthwash
3 cups of Epsom Salts
3 12oz bottles of stale cheap beer
Mix ingredients until salt dissolves. Spray anywhere you sit outside, around pools, will not harm plants! Only need to reapply twice during the summer, good for 80 days!
