Except for my water garden… All of my lilies have gone to sleep for the winter leaving my pond somewhat bare and sterile. Time to get some water hawthorns and floating islands for come winter color! Water Hawthorns are from South Africa. It loves cold weather and will grow and bloom until May. Then it will go dormant and come back only if you dry it out. Most folks just replace it every year. I also put in the floating islands with cyclamen and pansies. (fun fact you can eat the flower of the pansy)
