Fall Flowers

I love Fall!  After our brutal summers, cooler temps are a welcome RELIEF!  It’s a great time to garden but many don’t….WHY NOT?  Partly, I think because we are conditioned to garden in the spring.  And partly because we are so distracted by School starting up, Sports and preparing for the three major holidays.  Don’t let these things stop you!  Grow some healthy veggies and greens (many of whom are freeze resistant) or create a gorgeous composition of Fall Flowers in a flower bed or in a pot.  Then you can admire your handiwork as you sit outside and savor the cool temperatures of FALL!  Here are some of the plants that thrive in our winters: Dianthus, Cyclamens, Pansies and Snapdragons!
