A Steer in the Rear

My younger sister Emma (I can’t say little because she is a full 7″ taller than me) is raising a steer for our local FFA (Future Farmers of America) Livestock Show and Sale. Patty, the steer, has been a very nice well behaved steer but now that it’s spring I am ready for him to moooooooove (LOL) out. Why you may ask….well he is currently living in my soon to be massive vegetable garden. I love love love fresh veggies from the garden and avoiding the grocery store produce section for a few months (WHY is it always so packed!). So though Patty has never been a pain in the rear, he will have to go and be replaced with squash, eggplants, tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers…so many peppers. Thank you Patty for all the wonderful organic fertilizer and playing with George Jones (my German Shepard).
