I have harvested all the Kale from my garden, they all started to bolt (produce flowers) so it was time to go. I juiced every bit of kale and juiced in pineapple and a bit of ginger and lemon to make it palatable. I also harvested beets, I like to juice beets with strawberries. The strawberries remove the “earthy” taste of beets and as always I juice in some ginger and lemon. We are also harvesting artichokes! Artichokes if you have the room are so easy to grow—plant them in the Fall, harvest them in the spring. Hardly any watering or weeding involved!
