I moved to the Houston Area over 38 years ago (can I say I’m a Texan now?). Everything I knew about gardening became obsolete! The sub tropical Gulf Coast Climate is so different from the temperate climates of the East Coast where I grew up. Are you dazed and confused when it comes to gardening here? On April 23rd at our Garden Party from 10 am until 12:00 we will have two Gardening experts from this area offering up their expertise. The first is Nancy Greig, director of the Cockrell Butterfly Garden, speaking on Butterfly Gardening. After Nancy, Linda Gay, former director of the Mercer Arboretum, will speak on Gulf Coast Gardening. There is no charge for either of the talks!
