Frog Days of Summer is a play on the summertime saying "Dog days of summer" and during this event, you can go "frog wild" purchasing Nursery Stock at 50% OFF! "Every frog will have his day" at Nelson's with any frog item being sold at a 25% discount!

An entire day is dedicated to the manly art of brewing beer, sampling beer (must be over 21 with a valid driver's license) drilling things and grilling.  You'll learn hardware tips including how to plumb a pot, how to fix a runaway toilet, how to change a light bulb, etc.  Join us for a fun day of grilling & drilling.  Wives are welcome too!

Eddie Albertson from our design team will present a little more advanced pond pond building techniques including a bit of filtration and stocking the pond with plants and fish.

Presented by Anita Nelson & Brian Cramer, this is the best and easiest way to filter a pond.  Unlock the secrets buried deep in swamps, marshes, and wetlands to discover how Mother Nature filters the water of our planet.  The class covers bogs in new construction as well as retrofitting an existing water garden with a new filter.

Peter Nelson presents the fun stuff: waterfalls, fountains, streams, and more.  Whether you already have a pond or not, he'll show you how to construct or retrofit your water garden with a waterfall, stream, or fountain!  This is a great time to get a few pointers from one of our experts.

Open Season on Bullfrog Bucks Begins: The term "Open Season" derives from the period of the year when the prohibition of the blood sports is lifted.  to avoid injury, shop early and wear camouflage (i.e. bright colors to blend in with the pottery).  For stealth shoppers, wear blue and people will assume you work for Nelson's, then you can bag the pot of your dreams.  Bullfrog Buck redemption ends December 30th 2011.  Unused Bucks will rollover until next November.
