It’s time to start preparing your vegetable beds for fall gardening. August 15th is the magic date for planting tomatoes. At this time of year the last thing I want to do is work in the heat and humidity. Give yourself these next few weeks to get ready. Then you can work on your beds at your leisure in the morning or evening when it’s a little more comfortable.
