Hi everybody Kennett Square Pennsylvania is the mushroom capital of the US. Although I am here for the International Water Garden Society Symposium, I decided to visit one the local mushroom farms. Take a look at these gorgeous and edible mushrooms.
Epic trip
Rolf, Emma and yours truly have been on a journey that will ultimately end at Longwood Gardens in Kenneth Square Pennsylvania. Longwood Gardens is one of the premier gardens in the US. I plan to share lots of pictures, in the meantime here are some images of our visit to the beach.
Attending the International Waterlily Society Meeting
Yes I’m attending the International Waterlily Society meeting this August in Kennett Square Pennsylvania and I’ll be posting lots of pictures on the Nelson Facebook Page. I’m also excited because Kennett Square is the mushroom capital of the US and I can’t wait to sample all those exotic mushrooms.
This I know
It is pointless to keep your tomato plants growing through the summer. I tried it and it doesn’t work….old tomatoes are just….well old! I ripped out all my tomatoes this week, the tomato fruit still on the old vines was pretty gnarly looking! “Waste not, Want not….so I cut away all the bad parts and […]

Flocculants are commonly used in water treatment plants to settle out particulates. Flocculant Plus works the same way by causing algae to clump. The clumped algae either […]
OK, I’m weird
